Democrats' view of Kamala Harris and Joe Biden for the new era
As the US elections approach, the possibility of Kamala Harris becoming a candidate is on the agenda if Joe Biden withdraws from candidacy.
The candidate impasse of the Democrats is on the agenda before the Presidential elections to be held in the USA on November 5. In particular, some senior Democrats are calling for President Joe Biden to withdraw from the race, considering that his age (81) and current performance will be detrimental to the party in the elections.
Democrats, who think Biden should withdraw, argue that a fresh start in the election campaign by nominating Vice President Kamala Harris (59) would be the best option. However, Harris' public vote of confidence is not as good as it used to be, and there are concerns that her work as vice president will not make a good impression if she is elected president.
