Who is Zaro Agha? When did he die? How old did he die?
Zaro Agha is known as the oldest man in world. When we look at the story of his life, we can see it. But some people don't believe that he is the oldest man.

It is claimed that Zaro was one of the people lived the longest. He was Kurd. He was born in Bitlis. When he was young, he worked as construction worker. Then, he moved to Istanbul. He worked as a porter. Finally, he retired as a janiator. He travelled many countries including US, UK, Franca and Italia. He attracted the attention of popular press. His body was sent to the US for research after he died.
Zaro Agha had gone Mustafa Kemal Ataturk for two times and called him as “Sultan”. Turkish newspaper reported that when Zaro met with Ataturk, he mentioned his having done very works.But he criticised his giving much freedom to the women.
The doctors treated him examined the X-rays of his bones. They suggested that he wasn’t 120 years old. According to from Istanbul to Reuter, he old man got angry and shaked his birth certicicate in front of doctors.
He claimed that he met with Napolyon, fought in six wars and Battle of Plevna. He wasn’t sure how many times he married eleven or twelve times. But he claimed that he have nearly 36 children.
He travelled England in 1931. He was vegetarian and didn’t drink or smoking. He was concervative. He thought that women should have wore skirt and stayed far from foreigners in Turkey.
He had 14 children but their names were never recorded. His wife, a Turk, was being looked superior than other people. But she died 60 years old.
Zaro lived as anonym until 1930. When someone heard the story of his meeting with Napolyon and Ataturk, Zaro said he was the oldest man in the world. He started to a public life with a tour of the US. Thanks to his fame, he became rich and toured circus shows as the Eighth Wonder of the World.
Eventually, he had to turn to home because his wife, Kudret, threatened him by filing an alimony lawsuit. He turned to his old job which was coffee brewer for the local city council. He told his the travels of NewYork and Canada to customers, not the stories of his meeting with Napolyon.
According to claims, Zaro Agha saw 10 Ottoman Sultans , 28 grand viziers, 1 president , 5 prime ministers, participated in 6 wars. according to some sources was married seven times, according to some sources 13 times, according to another source and 29 times. He had 13 children, five girls and eight boys, and 29 grandchildren. Thus, he spent his last days Istanbul and died here. His grave is in the Eyüpsultan cemetery.
