Gianrico Carofiglio, 30 Mayıs 1961 yılında İtalya’ nın Bari kentinde doğmuş İtalyan yazardır. Aynı zamanda Yargıçlık yapmaktadır. Mafya’ ya karşı verilen mücadelede yargıçlık yapmaktadır. İlk romanı “Testimone inconsapevole (İstemeden Tanıklık)” 2002’ de yayımlanmıştır.
