24 November 1928 is the day when Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of the Republic of Turkey, accepted the title of "Head Teacher of National Schools. The Council of Ministers gave Mustafa Kemal Atatürk the title of "Head Teacher of National Schools" at the meeting held on November 11, 1928. and this title became official with the publication of the National Schools Regulations on November 24.
